Heritage Audio LANG SILVERR 47 Release - all tube dual microphone preamplifier

June 2, 2025

Following the release of the P.LANE 436 compressor, Heritage Audio and LANG Electronic have released the vintage LANG SILVERR 47 microphone/instrument preamplifier.

The product is reportedly based on a famous British preamp design from the 1960s, which was used at every stage of the recording process. It features a pair of proprietary tubes — NOS 6AU6 for the input stage and JJ E88CC for the output stage — as well as custom Lang Electronics input and output transformers. A distinctive feature of the unit is the No Feedback (NFB) gain setting, which enables unique harmonic distortion.

The preamplifier has an attenuator, phantom power, phase reversal, and a high-pass filter (80 Hz), as well as gain controls in 6 dB steps. It has balanced connectors for switching: two XLR microphone inputs, two 6.3 mm line inputs, two DI (6.3 mm) inputs, two XLR line outputs, and two 6.3 mm line outputs.

The Heritage Audio LANG SILVERR 47 will be available for purchase for around $1,250. More information about this preamplifier can be found on the official Heritage Audio website.
