Waves Audio has released the Free Plugin Pack, a free set of nine plugins valued at over $200

The Waves Free Plugin Pack includes dynamic and modulation processors, saturators and an FM synthesizer. It should be noted that users of the pack will receive free plugin updates as they become available.

There are nine plugins in the set:

1. AudioTrack - an effects chain combining a four-band EQ, compressor and gate.
2. Flow Motion - FM synthesizer with virtual analog processing.
3. GTR Solo - an easy-to-use guitar amp and effects emulator.
4. IR-Live Convolution Reverb - Reverb with the ability to use custom convolutions.
5. Lil Tube - easy to use analog tube saturator.
6. StudioVerse Audio Effects - library of presets and effect chains for Waves audio plug-ins.
7. StudioVerse Instruments - Library of ready-made presets for various instruments.
8. V-Comp - vintage sounding compressor inspired by the Neve 2254 compressor.
9. V-EQ3 - vintage equalizer with "rich analog sound" based on the equalizers of the Neve 1066 and Neve 1073 consoles.

The developers note that the plug-ins in the lineup are available to everyone - all you need to do to get one is register on the Waves Audio website or log in to an existing account. You can only get the Free Plugin Pack once - it is tied to your account.

The release of the bundle is intended to help aspiring musicians and make "high-quality and useful processing" more accessible to users. Despite the release of the bundle, the plug-ins in the bundle are sold individually through the Waves Audio Online Store. Each development, with the exception of StudioVerse Instruments and StudioVerse Audio Effects, costs $34.99.

All plug-ins are provided in VST3, AU and AAX formats. Developments are compatible with Windows 10 and later, MacOS 12 and later (Intel/Apple).
