Warner Music Group's Chinese division has introduced its first virtual artist, AI HUA. As part of the presentation on social media and streaming platforms, an English-version song, “Wu AI-Hua,” was also released.
The music video for the AI artist's song was created using the Kling AI video generator. The video reimagines the "Wuxia" genre, which was popular in Chinese cinema in the 1960s.
The song is available on Apple Music, and the video is on YouTube. The label does not specify whether real performers' voices were used in the composition. It is possible that the song was entirely generated using a neural network music generator.
At the end of 2025, Warner Music Group entered into a partnership agreement with the AI generator Suno AI. Under the agreement's terms, Suno AI will abandon all previously created models and close access to them. In the future, it will use only Warner Music Group catalog data to develop new algorithms. AI HUA may be a trial run for a new work format.
The agreement between the label and the service was part of a copyright infringement lawsuit settlement. In the summer of 2024, major music labels filed a lawsuit against Suno and Udio.
