Steinberg has released Cubasis 3.8, an update for its digital audio workstation (DAW) designed for tablets and smartphones.
DAW has acquired two new instruments: Verve, a highly detailed felt piano ideal for textured soundscapes, and Etude, which delivers the expressive depth of a Yamaha C3X concert grand piano. Etude features subtle harmonic saturation in the upper register and deep, warm tones in the lower octaves. Both instruments provide seamless integration with Cubasis and other AUv3-compatible DAWs.
Version 3.8 introduces Amp Rack and Bass Amp, featuring collections of legendary amplifier models and a range of versatile effects pedals for guitarists and bassists. Additionally, the new version boasts an upgraded tuner with simple and advanced modes, an ultra-fast response time, and intuitive controls for accurately tuning any instrument. Other new features and improvements include Bluetooth audio recording, the ability to select an audio input/output device, support for importing and exporting tempo and track size data in MIDI files, a new portrait mode, and external display support.
