Liquid Death Selling Tea Cans With Ozzy Osbourne’s DNA

June 21, 2025

A new tea containing a piece of Ozzy Osbourne's DNA has appeared in the catalog of beverage maker Liquid Death. The drink is released in a limited edition of 10 cans.

Liquid Death specializes in producing soft and tonic drinks, and each release is accompanied by unusual promotional activities. The latest addition to the company's catalog is the Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy DNA Black Tea.

It should be noted that the cans themselves do not contain black tea; rather, the company is selling 10 used cans of Liquid Death iced tea that Ozzy Osbourne drank himself. According to the manufacturer, the tea party took place on May 20, 2025.

The Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy DNA collection consists of ten empty cans of tea packed in airtight transparent containers. This method allowed the company to preserve a piece of the musician's DNA.

Each jar is valued at $450. The manufacturer stated that the cans may be useful in the future to "clone the Prince of Darkness." Osbourne himself noted that, although his DNA remains on each can, he sincerely does not understand why anyone would want to clone him.

The set of cans became available for purchase on June 17, 2025. Given the collectible nature of the campaign, it is likely that the entire batch sold out within the first few hours of sales.

We also recall, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne performed their final show. The 10-hour concert featured other famous musicians in addition to the band itself.
