The Expressive E Osmose 61 is a versatile instrument with a full-size, 61-key keyboard. It offers a high degree of expressiveness, including velocity and pressure sensitivity, aftertouch, and features such as Pitch Bend, Pressure Glide, Strum, Tap, Press, Aftertouch, Note Off, Expressive Arpeggiator, and Vibrato.
The new product is equipped with a special synthesizer engine — the EaganMatrix from Haken Audio — which gained new features thanks to a firmware update to version 2.1. This sound engine powers the instrument's built-in sounds and offers a combination of physical modeling, frequency modulation, subtractive synthesis, and other features. It also has built-in reverb, delay, compression, and EQ. The instrument has 24-voice polyphony and includes a color LCD display, six encoders, pitch and mod sliders, and octave and preset buttons.
The Expressive E Osmose 61 has the following connectivity options: MIDI connector (In/Out/Thru), USB-B port, two TRS line connectors, TRS headphone connector. In addition, users have access to 580 factory presets and up to 2048 slots for user presets. In addition, the company has also developed a collection of software that adds even more sounds to Osmose through partnerships with companies such as U-He, KiloHearts, Dawesome, AAS, and Synapse Audio. These collaborations are featured in the Expressive Suites, available on the company's website.
