The release of the EVA Instruments Ukulele library has been announced by Splash Sound studio on their official website. The priduct is not another template library, but a complete instrument with which you can write a whole song.
The EVA Instruments Ukulele offers ukulele sounds recorded with two pairs of stereo condenser and dynamic microphones. Users have access to a total of four patches — two for each type of microphone. According to the creators, the sample set allows users to combine multiple instances of the library to create a natural-sounding dub track.
The instrument has four sound production options - single notes (sustained), muted notes, percussion sounds, and guitar strumming. The library also includes pattern and chord sets for quick part writing.
Depending on the sound option selected, the Ukulele offers up to eight layers of sound with a wide range of dynamics and performance techniques. The library includes an effects section, presets, and percussion patches.
The library contains 2,946 WAV format samples (44.1 kHz, 24-bit). The compressed volume of the instrument is 2.6 GB.
The EVA Instruments Ukulele library is distributed in NKI format. The library is compatible with the Native Instruments Kontakt 5.6.8 sampler and higher versions. The free edition of the sampler, Kontakt Player, is not supported.
The EVA Instruments Ukulele is priced at $39. Get more details about the library at the official website of EVA Instruments by Splash Sound. You can also check out how the library sounds there, or you can watch the YoTube video available below.
