Arturia V Collection 11 Release: 45 plug-ins, including a copy of the Roland JP-8000 and a unique lo-fi instrument

May 1, 2025

The company has announced the release of the updated Arturia V Collection 11 on its official website. The set includes two new instruments and updates to existing plug-ins. The collection now comes in two versions - Intro and Pro, which differ in the number of plug-ins included.

We would like to note at once how the designers have worked on the product page. Each plugin/synthesizer is designed as a collection card with animation and shiny effect. It looks very cool, the designers did a great job! You can check it out at the link above.

Arturia V Collection 11 overview design

Compared to the previous edition, V Collection 11 contains 45 virtual instruments. The set includes two brand new plug-ins, two previously unavailable instruments, and significantly updated versions of previously featured products.

The most important new addition is the Arturia Jup-8000 V synthesizer, a copy of the Roland JP-8000. The virtual analog instrument featured a bright and distinctive oscillator sound with a supersaw waveform and was popular in trance, hardcore and pop music in the early 2000s.

The developers promise an accurate recreation of the sound characteristics of the original, as well as a full set of JP-8000 presets. Users will also have access to sequencers, arpeggiators, a wide range of processing and an advanced modulation section.

The second debutant in the collection is the Arturia Pure LoFi plug-in. Originally developed with a focus on lo-fi sounds, it is also capable of generating more modern signals. The plug-in is equipped with two sound engines: the first one works in Realistic Instruments mode, the second - Lo-Fi Oscillator. Each engine has its own set of waveforms and settings, with the ability to mix signals between them.

In addition, the plug-in is equipped with the Engine Hardware Mode option, which simulates the characteristics of real hardware. Several sets of settings are available in this mode, including emulations of CMI, EMU, Akai MPC circuits, and other vintage instruments.

Pure LoFi also gets a separate LoFi processor with six modes of operation. The modes can be used simultaneously and mixed to achieve the desired vintage sound.

V Collection 11 also features the updated Arturia Augmented Series 2.0 instrument line. The update brings a simplified interface, new audio content and sound banks, and an expanded set of settings.

The set also includes an updated edition of MiniFreak V3 (read our review of the analog version of this synthesizer) and a new version of Arturia SEM V.

Arturia V Collection 11 is now available in two editions, Intro and Pro. The editions differ in the number of instruments included: while the Pro version contains all 45 plug-ins, the Intro edition consists of 10 plug-ins.

According to the description on the website, the basic version includes:

  1. Analog Lab Intro (V.5)
  2. Mini V (V.4)
  3. Jun-6 V
  4. Prophet-5 V
  5. DX7 V
  6. Pure LoFi
  7. MiniFreak V
  8. Stage-73 V (V.2)
  9. Augmented GRAND PIANO (V.2)
  10. Augmented STRINGS (V.2)

The company noted that the simplified bundle includes basic tools that provide everything needed to get started. Users will be able to expand the kit by purchasing additional plug-ins or by upgrading to the full version of the collection at a special price.

The plug-ins in Arturia V Collection 11 are delivered in VST3, AU and AAX formats. The plug-ins are compatible with Windows 10 and later, MacOS 12 and later (Intel/Apple).
