Meet the Arturia MiniFreak Vocoder Edition, Arturia's famous instrument now available in a 16-band vocoder version with a white color scheme!
The vocoder allows connection of a detachable gooseneck microphone and other external sound sources. It has further processing capability in the classic 16-band speech synthesis sound engine. Users can combine the processed voice with synthesizer oscillators and control formants to create "metallic" timbres or engage the Talkbox-voice through the built-in effects slots.
The unit also boasts two digital sound engines with over 30 modes, six digital voices, a polyphonic analog filter, and an extended modulation matrix. Additional features include polyphonic ADSR envelopes, a customizable multi-segment LFO, FM and ring modulation, Spice & Dice randomization, three effects slots with a choice of ten types, a velocity-sensitive 37-key keyboard with aftertouch, a sequencer, an arpeggiator, and more. The instrument comes bundled with a free VST copy of MiniFreak V for full DAW integration.
The most important thing is that vocoder function is no longer exclusive to MiniFreak Vocoder Edition, but will be available to all users and owners of the original MiniFreak version (gray and stellar edition).
