In an official press release, the company announced the release of a compact version of the Arturia AstroLab 37 stage keyboard. This model offers all the same features as larger versions of the instrument but in a more compact form.
According to Arturia, the AstroLab 37 "embodies all the power of the AstroLab line in a compact format." Like the original AstroLab and AstroLab 88, the 37-key version combines a high-quality keyboard with advanced software capabilities.
The instrument's sound library is based on the Arturia Analog Lab Pro catalog, which includes thousands of diverse presets. Users can control the software directly on the keyboard via function keys.
Users can create their own presets on a computer and use them on the instrument. The reverse is also supported: patches can be adjusted on the keyboard for later use at a workstation.

Synchronization with Analog Lab Pro is a particular focus. In addition to exchanging patches, musicians can create unique sounds, modify effects, compile playlists, and manage their sound library. All content is available on the stage piano at any time.
Additionally, the built-in sequencer offers multi-track recording. Thanks to this feature, the model can be considered a standalone studio, ready not only for concerts, but also for creative work. For example, demos can be created in the instrument's memory.
This model features a compact 37-key keyboard with aftertouch. The instrument also has a vocoder and several performance modes that simplify chord work and playing in specific keys.
According to the manufacturer, the AstroLab 37 is designed for live performances, making it a completely autonomous instrument. Musicians simply need to turn on the piano and select the desired sound to begin playing. All work is done in real time on the AstroLab itself and does not require a connection to a computer, laptop, or smartphone.
With the release of the AstroLab 37, the French company is bringing its software products into the real world. The piano offers more than 40 instruments and over 1,600 presets from Analog Lab, V Collection, and Pigments synthesizer out of the box. There is also a set of effects that replicate those in the FX Collection.

This model supports macros, allowing musicians to independently compile scripts that determine how the device behaves. For example, pressing a button could call up a specific preset or apply a chain of effects.
Information about the piano's status is displayed on a color screen with a rotary encoder. The encoder helps you navigate menus and settings without additional menu diving.
The keyboard can be connected to other equipment via MIDI inputs and outputs, a USB-C connector, and a USB-A host for connecting flash drives. Sound can be input and output via balanced stereo outputs and microphone and line mono inputs. Fans of expression pedals and other foot switches will appreciate the separate input on the body.
The model supports wireless connectivity; external devices can be connected to the instrument via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The manufacturer emphasizes that the AstroLab 37 can work with workstations and computers wirelessly, simplifying connectivity.
The keyboard is currently available for purchase. The recommended retail price is $799. The package includes a set of cables, a license for Analog Lab Pro, and the Arturia Connect app for working with a computer. More details about the Arturia AstroLab 37 are available on the manufacturer's official website.
