Waves InTrigger Release – a plugin for drum sounds replacement

Waves released the InTrigger plugin, which can trigger drums (replacing percussion sounds) in real time with zero latency. It requires no additional equipment and is suitable for studio and live performances.

The new product offers an intelligent COSMOS sample browser that helps you quickly find and listen to the sounds you need in your library in the context of your session. The plugin can analyze levels, recognize phantom notes, and distinguish between clean hits and leaks. Onset Gate technology filters out background noise while preserving performance details. You can perform subsequent editing directly in the plugin, including searching for samples, using a built-in sample engine, and combining up to eight layers per beat.

Other features include:

• Humanize, which ensures that no two sounds are the same, even when using the same one-shot
• A built-in sampler for adjusting the sound of percussion instruments with advanced sampler functions
• Automatic hit detection and threshold setting with minimal adjustments
• A stage version of the plugin, InTrigger Live, with zero latency, manual threshold adjustment, and support for up to four layers (no Learn function or COSMOS integration)
