Warm Audio has released the WA-CX24 large-diaphragm stereo tube condenser microphone based on the classic AKG C24 model.
The WA-CX24 features two dual-diaphragm CK12 capsules, one of which can be rotated 180°. Additionally, the directivity pattern can be adjusted separately for each capsule. Options include cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-eight, and six additional intermediate directivities for various stereo configurations. The microphone is ideal for recording or broadcasting choirs, stringed instruments, grand pianos, complex percussion, and other instruments that require recording techniques such as XY, Mid-Side, or Blumlein.
