Universal Audio announced the launch of its New Year's Holiday Freebie promotion in an email sent to users of the company's products. Musicians can download one of the company's plugins completely free of charge.
As part of the Holiday Freebie promotion, users of Universal Audio products can download one of the company's 10 plugins for free. To download, you must create or have an active account in the Universal Audio system.

Some of the products featured in the selection have already been distributed by the company: for example, during 2025, users had the opportunity to download the Teletronix LA-2A compressor, the UAD Showtime '64 Tube Amp guitar amplifier, the PolyMAX Synth synthesizer, and other developments free of charge. If the company continues its giveaway practice, at this rate it will soon be possible to collect almost the entire collection of the brand's developments.
Universal Audio's New Year's promotion allows you to either download products that for some reason you were unable to pick up in one of the previous giveaways, or expand your existing collection of the company's plugins. Depending on the product, plugins are available in native or UAD versions.
To participate, you need to register an account on the Universal Audio website or log in to an existing profile, and then visit the Universal Audio Holiday Freebie promotion page. On the promotion page, you can select a plugin to download and a holiday promo code to reset the cost to zero.
After selecting a plugin and adding it to your cart, you must continue the purchase process by going to your cart and proceeding to checkout. In your cart, apply the promo code: HOLIDAYFREEBIE.
Native versions of the plug-ins are available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for computers running Windows 10 or later and macOS 11 or later. You do not need Universal Audio hardware to use the native versions.
