Universal Audio released the Anthem Analog Synthesizer, a software tool based on classic analog mono synthesizer models. It runs on operating systems such as Windows 10 and later and macOS 10.15 and later in the following plugin formats: VST3, AU and AAX.
The new product features an intuitive graphical interface and includes VCO, VCF, mixer, envelope, LFO, and voice sections. There are also three voice modes (mono, paraphonic, and unison), a built-in sequencer, and a range of effects, including chorus, flanger, spring reverb, and tape echo. Each effect is modeled after real analog equipment. The Anthem boasts two oscillators with three-octave ranges. The first is complemented by a sub oscillator, and the second is complemented by a Warp/Mod control that adjusts oscillator timing and ring modulation.
The Universal Audio Anthem Analog Synthesizer is currently available for purchase at the introductory price of $150. The regular price of the plug-in is $200. More information about the virtual synthesizer can be found on Universal Audio's official website.
