Roland has released the Roland Earth Electric Piano, a software instrument combining multisampling and modeling techniques.

This product offers 19 types of electric pianos through a single graphical interface. It boasts a variety of rich, natural-sounding instruments, ranging from classic electric pianos with vintage, rough sounds, to electric grand pianos and synthesizer models. It includes reconstructions of instruments used in numerous modern music recordings and performances.

It includes an electric piano from the 1970s and '80s, a clavinet with a funky sound, and a Vintage Digital category with the Roland RD-1000 and JD-800, classic FM voices, and more. Additionally, there are two types of preamps (warm saturation or more pronounced overdrive), six tremolo variations, 12 cabinet models, and a direct signal option for clean, unprocessed sound. Earth Electric Piano allows users to add the unique sonic characteristics of the original instruments, including electronic hums and hisses, as well as mechanical key and damper noises.
Other features include: Venue effect (allows you to place instruments in nine spaces that mimic real rooms, such as a spacious cathedral, a world-class concert hall, as well as cozy studios and lounge areas); a special three-band equalizer; a multi-mode compressor; 90 multi-effect combinations based on Zenology FX; over 100 professionally designed presets; support for Windows 10 and above or macOS 11 and above in the following plugin formats: VST3, AU, and AAX.

The Roland Earth Electric Piano is available for purchase at the limited-time price of $50 until December 31, 2025 (regularly $250) and through a Roland Cloud Ultimate subscription. For more information, visit the product page on Roland's official website.
