Rhodes has introduced its third software instrument - the Rhodes Wurli, which features an intuitive graphical interface similar to that of the Rhodes Anthology kit.
The new product is reportedly based on the original Wurlitzer 200A but is available as a plugin. The piano boasts sections such as Pre-Amp, EQ, Vibrato, and Velocity, as well as the following effects: Chorus, Phaser, Delay, and Reverb. Users also have a choice of two types of amplifiers and two types of microphones to further customize the sound. The Wurli features Global Tune and Timbre Shift, among other things. These allow you to achieve a softer or squeakier sound and increase or decrease mechanical noise. In addition, a set of presets is provided.
The Rhodes Wurli will be available for purchase at a price of $130. Users will be able to take advantage of a 30% discount until June 30, 2025. For more information and to download a free 14-day trial, visit the official Rhodes website.
