The new product comes equipped with an integrated, bidirectional USB 2.0 (64x64) audio interface and a built-in SD recorder (34x34). This allows you to integrate backing tracks, record concerts, and mix music albums. The console comes with a set of special software, including Capture for multitrack recording, a program for virtual soundchecks, and a perpetual license for Studio One Pro. Each channel can easily switch between audio sources, including USB, SD, and AVB. Note that the mixer can be controlled remotely from a computer or tablet, or in standalone mode using Universal Control.

The mixer has 16 built-in mic/line inputs with XMAX preamps and 10 mixer outputs, Main LR outputs, and a Mono Sum output. The built-in AVB audio network allows you to integrate stage boxes, personal monitor mixers, switches, and add-ons, such as the AVB-D16, which provides Dante connectivity (16x16). Other features include a frameless display, seven equalizers with modeled state space, eight vintage compressors on each input and bus, four effects mixers, four subgroups, and 24 DCA groups. The PreSonus Metro software allows remote control of the mixer from anywhere in the world with an internet connection, and the QMix-UC app for iPhone and Android has an easy-to-use Wheel of Me feature.
