On their official website, the developers announced that the equalizer module included in the iZotope Ozone 12 effects processor is now available as a standalone plugin. iZotope Ozone 12 EQ is completely independent and does not require the purchase of any additional products.
As its creators noted, Ozone 12 EQ is a standalone solution. The equalizer's release is intended for novice musicians and experienced sound engineers. Through this release, the creators plan to attract more attention to their products while providing an effective signal processing tool for mixing and mastering.
The plugin fully replicates the equalization module's capabilities from iZotope Ozone 12. Users have access to analog and digital modes, mid/side processing, a focus-on-main-content-or-transients mode, and other features.
The iZotope Ozone 12 EQ is available for download as part of the free Native Instruments Komplete Start plugin bundle. Previously, the bundle included the iZotope Ozone 11 EQ; now, only the 12th version will be available.
To download the suite, register on the Native Instruments website. Like the other plugins in the suite, the equalizer is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats. It is compatible with Windows 10 and newer and macOS 13.7 and newer (Intel/Apple) operating systems.
