IK Multimedia has released the Prism Reverb plugin, which combines modulated reverb and pitch shifting. The plugin is compatible with Windows 10 and later versions, as well as macOS 10.15 and higher, and is available in the following formats: VST3, AU, and AAX.
The new plugin has four sections: Reverb, Mod, Pitch, and Feedback. The Reverb section generates initial reflections that determine the sound of the reverb and is equipped with Size, Diffusion, Highpass, and Lowpass parameters. The Mod section has a built-in LFO with independent depth, rate, and randomization controls. The Pitch section has two pitch shifters with a range of ±2 octaves, as well as ultra-precise tuning with an accuracy of 1/100 of a semitone. Each processor is equipped with its own Level, Shift, and Pan controls. The fourth section, Feedback, controls the intensity and overall tone of the reverb signal. It features an FB PITCH switch that turns pitch shifting on or off during the cycle and a FLIP button that switches the stereo channels to improve spatial depth and create more complex effects.
