The DAW's main new feature is its full integration with Splice, a cloud-based sample service. Now, Pro Tools users can access the service's library without an external browser or app. Additionally, the AI-powered feature offers sound matching based on the current project's tempo, pitch, and rhythm. Users can create a free Splice account to access more than 2,500 free samples; access to the full library costs $13 per month.

Additionally, version 2025.6 brings enhanced ARA integration. For example, the latest version of Pro Tools officially supports Waves Sync Vx and Dreamtonics Synthesizer V. Other improvements include support for Cue Pro and Matchbox 2.0, which provides a seamless connection to video editing tools in Media Composer and other editing programs. ADR replicas can now be created visually and in real time, and reconformation steps can be performed automatically and more efficiently. There is also speech-to-text capability, which automatically transcribes spoken content from audio clips. This feature works with a separately installed AI/ML model. Finally, updated MIDIs now support custom keyboard labels for each instrument or MIDI-track.
