Audio-Technica has introduced the second generation of its true wireless stereo (TWS) in-ear headphones: the ATH-CKS50TW2. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this new product and review its main features.
The model's main improvement is its Magnetic Switch technology, which allows the headphones to turn on or off the moment they are connected or disconnected from each other using special built-in magnets. This feature saves power by eliminating the need to engage the charging case constantly.
The upgraded version also boasts an extended battery life of up to 65 hours (25 hours on a full charge and an additional 40 hours from the charging case). In active noise-canceling mode, the headphones provide up to 15 hours of music playback and an additional 25 hours when charged from the case. However, fast charging for five minutes provides up to 90 minutes of sound broadcasting.
