Audio-Technica has released its flagship model of full-size open-back headphones, the ATH-ADX7000, for audiophiles.

The headphones feature 58mm dynamic drivers, which are made using new HXDT technology. This technology allows for natural and voluminous sound reproduction with rich bass, detailed midrange, and smooth treble. The new product features an aluminum housing with a perforated honeycomb cup design that allows for ventilation. Additionally, the driver is optimally positioned inside the housing thanks to proprietary Core Mount technology, which improves airflow to the diffuser.

The headphones boast a thin, rigid magnesium alloy frame that provides strength and stability, as well as two pairs of replaceable ear pads: high-density velvet, which suppresses unwanted resonance, and Alcantara, which enhances bass and softens treble. The headphones come with two detachable, three-meter cables with nylon braiding and A2DC connectors: a balanced cable with a four-pin XLRM connector and an unbalanced cable with a gold-plated, 6.3-mm stereo plug.

The Audio-Technica ATH-ADX7000 will be available for around $3500. For more detailed information about the headphones, please visit the product page on the official Audio-Technica website.
