Atomix has released an updated version of its flagship software app, VirtualDJ 2026, with enhanced functionality.
The new feature recognizes text from audio files and displays it as part of a waveform diagram, making navigation easier. Additionally, the AIPrompt Folder feature is now available (PRO license required). This feature brings LLM (large language model) capabilities directly into the application and functions as an AI assistant within VirtualDJ. This feature provides formatted lists of track recommendations with explanations for each track. The lists are ready to be dragged onto the deck and played using text interaction with the user.
The program boasts an improved professional effects engine with over 122 effects, including nearly all of those found in popular Pioneer and Rane hardware mixers. A new video plugin for visualizing song lyrics is also available, suitable for karaoke and singing along to any audio track.
VirtualDJ 2026 by Atomix is available for download in early access mode on the official VirtualDJ website.
