Arturia has released the AstroLab 1.5 firmware update for its flagship AstroLab 61 and 88 series of USB/MIDI synth instruments.
Firmware version 1.5 enables use of the new Looper demo files and the factory library. It also allows transfer of playlists from AstroLab to Analog Lab. In ARP mode, the RATE parameter is now set to 1/16 by default. There are also several bug fixes, including one for Piano V, as well as an improved aftertouch feel. Both the 61- and 88-key AstroLab models boast full support for the following plug-ins within Analog Lab Pro: Augmented MALLETS, Augmented YANGTZE, Jup-8000 V, MiniBrute V, Pure LoFi, Synthx V, and SEM V3. Further improvements have also been made to the devices' software. You can now send program changes to external devices and block ARP, CHORD, and SCALE functions to save settings when viewing.
